Back in my favourite city - SYDNEY!
What can you say about Sydney? Just simply, it's my favourite city and I'll never get tired of visiting (and maybe someday actually live there too). From it's fantastic climate and outdoors lifestyles to the beaches, the busy city, the magnificent skyline with the Opera House and Harbour bridge to the people - new and old friends who live there.

This time was my second visit to Sydney and much different this time - while I was still a tourist there, it was much more relaxing this time around mainly because of the people I met and was visting. So a huge thank you to Susanna and Campbell, to Tas, to Beck an Jared, to Manu and Kati and to Eloise and her friends.

Sydney this time meant a trip to Port Stephens and Shoal Bay, a wonderful New Year's Eve at the WatersEdge restaurant overlooking the Harbour Bridge and midnight fireworks with Beck and her family, a 45-degree New Year's Day just chilling out (if that's possible!), some great meals, catching up with Eloise and her friends (great to see you again!) and going for a morning swim.

The final night was surreal - I flew in from Wellington to Sydney, checked into the Hilton (why not since it was my last night), changed, went down to meet Tas and Eloise in the Cruise Bar and got "home" late. I deliberately got up early to see the sun rise over the harbour and then just spent the morning relaxing around Sydney before heading back to the airport.

So come along and take a trip around Sydney with me ... I'll certainly be back there very soon ... love the place!!
